Week 21 - Amiocentesis Results

We finally received word from the doctor regarding the Amiocentesis.…… the baby does not have any genetic defects.  There is no indication of Downs or other syndromes.  What a praise!!

What this means:

•      The baby will most likely have normal mental abilities (probably a large section carved out for sarcasm like his dad). 
•           The baby will still have significant heart and stomach issues at birth.
•           The arms will not be addressed until later as they are not essential to life during the first few months.
