In Zachary's rooms, he has drawers for clothes and diapers. This is where his favorite monkey pajamas are kept when he isn't wearing them.
In Zachary's rooms, there is a large container of hand sanitizer. This is to keep the hands clean that change his diaper or empty his colostomy bag.
In Zachary's rooms, he has a spot for toys. These are special toys to help him develop his fine motor skills in his hands. His favorite one is the big orange car.
In Zachary's rooms, mom (or a nurse) can take care of most of Zachary's special needs.
We realized this week that Zachary spends as much time at PCH as he does at home. We are so thankful for the staff at PCH welcoming us to our second home.
Yes Zachary is still at PCH. He had quadrupled his poop output which is putting Zachary on the verge of severe dehydration. He is getting a PICC IV line today so the team can replace the fluid he loses easily. This means however that this stay could easily be another week or so.
Docs have ordered several stool samples to check for some infection.
Thank you for praying.
