Here we are, another year past. Zachary’s 7th birthday is on Thursday, December 10th. How can this be?
We treasured every moment we had with him while he was on earth with us.
It has been a hard week as we approach his birthday. The thoughts of what would we have done for his birthday, what would he look like, what kind of attitude would he have, Flood our minds.
With all that 2020 has presented, we are so thankful Zachary gets to celebrate his 7th birthday in heaven with Jesus. What an amazing birthday he will be having. Better than anything we could give him here.
As we celebrate his life, we would love for everyone to do an act of kindness in honor of Zachary on Thursday!! It could be going to a coffee shop and paying for someone’s coffee or going to a store and buying someone’s birthday cake for them. Help us celebrate Zach and remember the legacy he left.
We miss our boy more than you can even imagine. The pain in our hearts will never be fixed and that is ok. We have good days and days we long so bad to hug him again. We cling to that hope that only comes for our God. We will one day be reunited with him and what an AMAZING thing that will be.
Until then, we keep going and sharing that hope with others. Thank you for celebrating his life with us and continuing to pray for our family. We are so blessed and so thankful for how God provides for our every need and He comforts us when we hurt so deeply.
