Becky,
Will you remember last Mother's Day? We never thought we would be able to bring Zachary to church to dedicate him. We didn't think he would make it that far. When Pastor Jim brought us up to the front and explained Zachary's story, there was not a dry eye in the room. Everyone was amazed at what God has done for Zachary.
Will you remember the last time we went camping? The boys loved getting down in the dirt. They would grab a shovel full and fling it on their backs. Regardless of what color their clothes were prior, they were now brown. And you were great about it. You loved their energy and excitement when they got to experience the outdoor woods.
Will you remember all of the times that you gently broke up a scuffle between Micah and Josiah? Probably not. I bet that they will. They will remember how you get down between them and in your calm, sweet voice help them work through their disagreement.
Will you remember taking Micah out for a breakfast 'date'? I know Micah will. He knows that I take you out on dates because it is very important to our relationship. Your life is full of little moments that make a huge impact on our boys. The boys could never have had a better mother. Thank you for all that you do. You are a gracious mother to my three minions. As energetic as they can be, you can be twice as gentle with them. You are speaking with respect to these boys even when they are being unloving to you.
I don't know if you will remember all the times you bless our boys, but I know God will.
Thank you Babe!
-David
