Today was the first time in a long time that my family could all attend our church. It was such an encouragement to see many of the people that have been praying and supporting us.
This is our current prayer:
Thank you God for all of your blessings. Thank you for your Character and your Word. Thank you that you are continuing to carry us. We are amazed by your love and sacrifice for us.
We are thankful for each one of our children. We are thankful that you have given us the privilege to be parents. Thank you for each day that we have to be the parents of these boys. Thank you that you have continued to heal Zachary. Thank you for being with Becky and I as Zachary had some difficult days in the hospital. Thank you for providing wisdom and strength to explain to the doctors the sacredness of life. Thank you for showing us that life is worth fighting for. Thank you for who you are. We didn't understand and we still won't completely understand your plan for our lives, but we submit to you.
Thank you for what you have done in our lives and what you promised to continue to do in our lives.
Amen.
Since this is the Holy Week, I have been reflecting on what God's Plan was during that time. God sent His Son to bear or take on the sins of all of the world. As a dad, I would have a hard time sending my son to take someone else's punishment, especially since it meant death. I have a deeper respect and greater humility due to the extent of this action.
Up Next...
This Thursday Zachary is having another scope done on his bronchial stent (airway stent). The docs may or may not take it out at this time. They have mentioned that the removal of the stent is traumatic so lets pray it is less traumatic than more.
Here are some pics of the last few weeks... Enjoy!!
