PCH Update

Becky drove down to PCH and walked into the ED.  As soon as the nurse saw Zach and his swollen face, Zachary was moved to the Recess Room.  To me, that sounds like fun.  I loved recess as a kid. I would have loved to go to a room dedicated to Recess!
To PCH, the Resus Room is really called the Resuscitation Room.  Becky said about 30 people swarmed Zach to start IVs, check vitals, get a medical history, give an X-ray, Etc. Etc.  Now granted, Zach looked the bluest he has been since he has been home and while still calm.

Docs are giving him an IV version of his heart medication which increases the potency.  Hopefully the effectiveness will be increased to help him get over the hump.  So far all of his tests are inconclusive.

More details to follow.

This song was played on the radio on our way home from the hospital.  Very Appropriate.

  2. Read this poem today & immediately thought of you all..."There Are Blessings In Everything" Blessings come in many guises/That God alone in love devises, And sickness, which we dread so much, Can bring a very healing touch, For often on the wings of pain/The peace we sought before in vain/Will come to us with sweet surprise, For God is merciful and wise...And through long hours of tribulation/ God gives us time for meditation, And no sickness can be counted loss/That teaches us to bear our cross. By Helen Steiner Rice. Praying for God to be ALL that you need Him to be. Good night-rest in Him. Love, Uncle Tony & Aunt Gale
