What April 1st Means to Us

April 1st is the day that God blessed Zachary enough to come home.  It is the day that Josiah officially realized that he was no longer the youngest. It is the day that as panicked and fearful for Zachary's future was full of God's peace.

Thank you God for creating this path.

"Consider the work of God: Who can make straight what he has made crooked?"  Ecc 7:13

Maybe God is using Zachary for His Glory.  Just because it is painful doesn't mean God is not involved.  The Cross reminds us of this fact more than anything.

Becky was at the hospital today reminiscing on April 1st, 2014 with the doctors and nurses.  They first did not expect him to survive the surgery in February.  Second, they didn't expect him to last a week, let alone go home.  Third, they are shocked to see him getting big and acting normal.
