Grief is a path best not walked alone

Thank you all that you are doing for us. Thank you for supporting us thru the GoFundMe account. The response has been such a blessing.

Some days have been good and other days just suck.

We have had a lot of people reach out with support. There are still sleepless nights and then tired days. Grief is rough. We have people bringing us food and cleaning our house. Please keep up the messages and following up. This path is easier with all of you.

Here is what we need:

Josiah needs a lot of love right now. He is worried that his 6th birthday will be overshadowed by the grief that we are going thru. We need your help to love on this boy.

Would you send a birthday card to him? We would love to show Josiah how many people care for him!  He has received a couple birthday cards but we want to have a mountain of cards for him.

Thank you in advance!!!

Micah and Josiah are now trying to figure out their “new normal” now that it is just the two of them.  They too are greiving and show it in very different ways.   We need prayer for them and for us to know how to help walk them through this processes.

Micah has been creating a lot of rules when he goes to play with Josiah. The rules sometimes are slanted in Micah's favor. (What? I know, you are shocked too.) Can you pray for Micah to show more love toward Josiah?

Becky has been caring for all of us during this time.  Josiah and I have had some sinus issues and she has graciously been caring for our every need.   She wakes in the middle of the night with us and attends to our needs and still wakes up at the crack of dawn to make us breakfast.

We know there is really no right or wrong way to grieve but it is exhausting.   I have been given time off from work to be with my family so I am very grateful for this.  We will get back to our “new” normal routine after the 4th of July.

Please pray for Becky to rest and wait to see what God has next for her.  She will have both the boys in school full time come August.  She will not have to go to any doctor appointments or spend hours on the phone with insurance and medical supply companies.   She is trying to rest and wait to see what the Lord has in store for her.

We are beyond thankful for the AMAZING support we have had and continue to have.
