Reinforcements have arrived!

We have finally navigated the various agencies to get approved for home nursing care.  We are getting around 30+ hours a week for a nurse to watch Zachary.

There are four different agencies involved in home nursing care (Strangle me now) and each one has a unique system that doesn't talk to the others.  One of the agencies had Zachary's name misspelled and didn't have us listed as the parents.  This meant that the only person that could talk to them regarding Zachary's care was.... Zachary.   If I were on the phone talking to them, I would have handed the phone to Zachary and walk away.   Becky was more gracious than I and finally got the situation straightened out.

Zach has a GI contrast study tomorrow (Thursday am) to try to get an idea of what his GI tract looks like.  He has thrown up a few times, but it is dramatically less since the ER visit.  (THANK YOU FOR PRAYING!)

Here is a pic of Micah and Josiah playing doctor on Zachary.

  1. Beautiful boys, David & Becky! I'll wear my "Zachary" shirt today & pray for his GI procedure. We trust your home-care agencies will get their collective acts together to offer the help you need for the baby...
