One of the nicknames that we gave Zachary was Zip or Zippy. There were a few reasons for this nickname. One, he had a zipper scar from his open heart surgeries. We didn't want him to be scared of this scar. It was big and when he wore a collared shirt, you could see the top of it. The nickname was a way for him to be ok with something that was different for him.
Zachary thought we gave him this nickname because he was "soo fast"! When we called him Zip, he would sprint over to us in that slow run that he had and would smile the whole way.
When Zachary and Charlie both died so suddenly, we really wanted to get another dog. This time, we already had the name. Now we had to get a dog that lined up with that name.
Thank you Ryan and Cara for helping research and bring us this sweet girl! God's timing is perfect.

What an adorable little girl. The boys will get a lot of enjoyment from her. She is so cute and Zachary would have loved being with her. God is good Faith and Trust ❤️
